The BulletProof 2.0" Aluminum Medium Duty 6" Drop/Rise Hitch is a premium adjustable towing hitch designed for vehicles equipped with a 2-inch receiver. It combines a solid aluminum shank, adjustable dual-ball mount, and a 6-inch drop/rise range for towing trailers with different coupler heights.
The hitch is manufactured from 6061 aluminum and polished for a clean, high-quality appearance. BulletProof says the aluminum components are machined to extremely tight tolerances to provide a precise fit.
Solid Aluminum Shank
The main shank is constructed from solid 6061 aluminum. Its polished aluminum finish provides a premium appearance while the precision-machined construction is designed to provide a secure fit and reduce unwanted movement between the hitch components.
Medium Duty Dual Ball Mount
The hitch includes an adjustable dual-ball mount with both a 2" hitch ball and a 2-5/16" hitch ball. The ball mount can be repositioned in 1-inch increments, allowing the towing height to be adjusted to accommodate different trailers.
The 2" ball is rated for up to 10,000 lbs, while the 2-5/16" ball is rated for up to 14,000 lbs. Both ball sizes are rated for a maximum 2,000 lbs tongue weight.
6" Drop / Rise
This model provides a 6-inch drop/rise configuration and can be installed in either the drop or rise position. BulletProof states that the hitch maintains the same towing and tongue-weight capacity in either orientation.
Maximum rated capacity for this model is 14,000 lbs towing capacity and 2,000 lbs tongue weight, whether it is being used in the drop or rise position.
CNC Precision Machining
BulletProof states that its hitch components are manufactured using Haas CNC machines with Renishaw probing technology. This manufacturing process is used to maintain tight tolerances and help ensure that the hitch and ball-mount components fit together with minimal excess movement.
